If you prefer to print your entire poster on one sheet, you can choose to get it printed in the print center at Simpson. The print center is in the Spirit Shop, at Kent Campus Center, and offers printing services for campus materials.

Here is the information you will need before printing posters:

  1. What is the maximum size of a poster that can be printed at the print center? Our poster boards are 36 inches (height) x 48 inches (length). Please ensure your poster dimensions are not larger than these.
  2. What is the format of the poster file I need to send to the print center? Once you have made your poster in PowerPoint or another suitable program, please convert your poster file to either JPEG or PDF before sending it to Todd Shyler for printing.
  3. How do I fix an appointment for printing my poster? Please get in touch with Todd Shyler or Laura Bollin for print shop services. Use the following email address: copycenter@mysimpson.onmicrosoft.com, for print shop services. Alternatively, you can also send an email to Todd todd.shayler@simpson.edu, or Laura Bollin-laura.bollin@simpson.edu to fix an appointment.
  4. How much time does the print center need to print a poster? The copy center will take 48 hours during weekdays to print a poster. However, please remember there will be high traffic during the weeks that lead to the symposium. Please plan accordingly!
  5. Contact your research advisor/instructor/department chair regarding funds to pay for your poster.
