SubConnection - Is your connection to the perfect meal with breads that are baked daily, fresh produce and high-quality meats, and lifestyle choices that include under 500 calorie subs and salads. In a hurry? Try our convenient, Simply to Go, pre-made sandwiches, wraps, salad options and more to go.

Red Mango - Simpson is the only place in Iowa you will find Red Mango's award-winning frozen yogurt and treats. The yogurt is all-natural, nonfat or lowfat, kosher and certified gluten-free. Plus it has calcium, protein and live & active cultures—all good for you! Stop by and get your delicious frozen yogurt in a cup, waffle cone, smoothie, parfait or chiller today.

Millie's - A favorite early morning stop for students on the way to class, Millie's is where you can pick up Starbucks coffee and fresh, rich-brewed, Italian style espresso beverages. You'll also find a variety of pastries and confections, and premium Tazo Teas and Frappuccino beverages.

Meal Plans

If you're a full-time residential student, you will be required to have a board plan. Simpson College offers five board plans. To help you better understand our plans, a "block" is one meal in the dining hall and "flex dollars" are funds you can use to purchase food at other venues.

The 19 Meal per Week Plan allows students to eat up to three meals per weekday, two on Saturday and two on Sunday throughout the entire semester. The plan includes $25 Flex Dollars per semester.

The 150 Block Plan allows students to eat 150 meals in the dining hall plus $275 flex dollars per semester.

The 200 Block Plan allows students to eat 200 meals in the dining hall plus $75 flex dollars per semester.

The 100 Block Plan plus $250 flex dollars per semester, which is only available to commuter students and students who live in apartments and theme houses, allows students to eat 100 meals in the dining hall per semester.

The Greek 150 Block Plan allows students to eat 150 meals plus $275 flex dollars per semester. For the Greek meal plan, all live-in members are required to be on this meal plan if the house has chosen to participate.

If a student is on a campus meal plan for both fall and spring semesters, flex money left over at the end of the first semester will roll-over to the second semester.

Students can change their board plans during the first four weeks of the term.
