Liz Grimsbo

Research Librarian, Assistant Professor

Biography

As Research Librarian I assist students with all steps in the research process.  I have an office with Mary Peterson in the Research Assistance Center in Dunn.  Students can drop in or make appointments to receive personal assistance with their research projects.   I also provide instruction in classrooms or in the library through our regularly scheduled demo sessions.

I serve as the consulting librarian to the division of Education & Social Sciences.

As Serials Librarian, I see that the print and online journals needed by the faculty and students are purchased and made accessible.   I am the contact in the library for faculty who wish to place personal or library items on reserve for their students.   Part of that job is to be knowledgeable about copyright.  I answer questions from faculty on copyright compliance.

I enjoy reading, quilting and spending time with my husband and 10 year old daughter.
