Lisa Carponelli brings her experience as a former professional broadcast journalist with years of video storytelling to the Multimedia Communication Department at Simpson College.
Biography
Lisa Carponelli serves as a professor, mentor and internship coordinator for students studying multimedia communication, sports communication and public relations since 2008. She also represents the Central Iowa Region on the Executive Board of the Iowa Broadcast News Association.
Lisa worked for local ABC and NBC affiliates across the country as a crime and courts reporter, special assignments reporter and main anchor. She has extensive experience handling live coverage during the Iowa Caucuses.
