Class of 05 Tammy (Foster) Evrard: Prolific Brand Builder
Vice President, Brand Partnerships, Atmosphere TV
Co-Owner, Evolve Yoga & Fitness
B.A.: Corporate Communications
“I think the biggest lesson from my time at Simpson is that it’s valuable to have a unique POV and not be lost in a sea of sameness. The hard things are worth the challenge — challenges bring the biggest reward.”

Prolific Brand Builder
Since landing her first post-Simpson professional role with Martha Stewart Living in Chicago 20 years ago, Tammy (Foster) Evrard ’05 has put together a remarkable resume with increasingly impressive roles across virtually every dimension of the advertising industry. She truly has done it all — eager to crush every new challenge.
After her days with Martha Steward Living, Evrard moved into a media planning role with OMD USA, where she helped manage the Quaker Oats portfolio. In 2007, she landed at Digitas for five years to execute strategy and media buys for major brands such as Kraft, Whirlpool and Miller Lite. From there, her work just got bigger and better.
“I left Digitas for a job at Harpo Studios working for Oprah and discovered how much I loved advertising sales,” said Evrard. “Not just being able to create and pitch ideas, but also having the team and the bandwidth to build them was so exciting.”
Entering a New Atmosphere in Advertising
She followed that with brief stints working for startups Brit + Co., BuzzFeed and Bustle Digital Group. Six years ago, she became vice president of brand partnerships for Atmosphere TV, which hails itself as the “world’s leading streaming TV service for businesses.”
Evrard’s work at Atmosphere has put her in new stratospheres of innovation while working with brand partners at Bank of America, Draft Kings, State Farm and more. Providing personalized ad experiences outside the home is among the coolest things she does.
“We are starting to build foundational tech that will make real-time connections with who is in front of our Atmosphere TV streaming experiences,” said Evrard. “We can now deliver a more customized, hyper-targeted message to customers throughout their daily journey.”
Evrard says she’s also excited to continue developing Atmosphere’s internal “SheLeads” women’s initiative connecting women in media, marketing and tech to one another for growth and mentoring. Somehow, she has also found time to open a yoga and fitness studio in Chicago with her husband.
How can she manage so much? It goes back to lessons learned in her college days.
“I learned to wear a lot of hats at Simpson to be able to juggle and prioritize,” said Evrard. “It’s so easy to do the same things over and over, it’s hard to do something new. I think the hard things are worth the challenge — challenges bring the biggest reward.”
