Simpson’s math degree gives you a solid foundation you can use for many different things, from analyzing the actions of enzymes on DNA to stock market trends to the effects of invasive insect species., to the evolution of human cooperation. Math majors can do anything!

The goal of the Mathematics Department is to allow students to develop mathematics as a tool applicable throughout their professional and personal lives. We do this by building a community of learners consisting of students and faculty and by building interdisciplinary relationships with our partner disciplines. Experiences beyond the classroom, including undergraduate research, give our students a competitive edge in the job market or for graduate school.

This club aims to foster future STEM professionals from diverse backgrounds to bridge equity gaps and ensure a prosperous future for Simpson STEM students. This club will provide various opportunities for students to enhance their academic potential. Students will obtain the necessary skills to create a compassionate and supportive environment. Additionally, students will experience diverse viewpoints and discussions from external sources in the STEM field. These activities will build awareness amongst students regarding the journeys they may pursue during their post-collegiate endeavors.
