Accreditation – Writing the Assurance Argument

The Criteria for Reaffirmation of Accreditation can be found at the Higher Learning Commission’s website.

Simpson will write an Assurance Argument explaining how Simpson meets the Criteria or, if we do not, the changes we will make to do so.

Teams were developed from faculty, staff, administration and students to write the Assurance Argument.

Criterion One: Mission

The institution’s mission is clear and articulated publicly; it guides the institution’s operations.
