Computer Science Career Potential

Nearly 100 percent of Simpson graduates in computer science find jobs after graduation, in Iowa or elsewhere. The jobs are typically high paying and the Bureau of Labor Statistics has information technology jobs growing at 13% through 2026, faster than average.

We work hard to ensure that as a graduate of Simpson College, you exceed employer expectations with course work, certificate programs, dual degree programs and development of tools like mobile software.

Many computer science students go on to graduate school or find a high tech job of the future. Whatever your next move, we are there to guide and support it. Simpson faculty members provide that all-important individual attention you won’t find at larger universities, and they maintain valuable connections with graduates so we can help you land a career-related internship.
