Alternative Testing Arrangements

Whether you prefer taking your exam in a quiet study spot or in the Center for Academic Resources, we'll help set you up for success

Alternative testing arrangements will need to be made with your professor. Here are two options to accommodate your needs.

Center for Academic Resources Testing
If part of your disability accommodation plan allows you to take tests in the Center for Academic Resources, you’ll need to communicate this to your professor and schedule a testing appointment with the Student Accessibility Service Coordinator and send them the test two days prior to the scheduled testing appointment.

Quiet Area Testing
If you’ve expressed a preference for taking tests outside the classroom in a quiet area of a building, the Center for Academic Resources will not be listed as a testing accommodation. Instead, sound cancelling headphones and portable study carrels will be available to use in each building.
