The older I get, the more I perceive there to be a difference in how certain traits manifest in those for whom that are learned and in those whom they are intrinsic. While anyone can develop Duty, Honor, and a Strong Moral Compass, where they manifest as learned traits, they never reach the strength they do in those whom they are naturally present. To those whom it is their nature, these virtues unerringly drive them to right action and thought. They can fight neither their drive towards greatness, nor their need to achieve it. In short, I don’t feel that a man can become Lambda, as no one can be taught to posses the required traits in the necessary strength to meet the standards we hold to. I think men are born Lambda and simply find their way home.

The men of Lambda Chi Alpha strive for excellence within their community. We are active in many clubs and organisations on campus including Computer Club, RLC, Operation Christmas Child, and IFC. Our biggest charity is the North American Food Drive.

We believe in Lambda Chi Alpha, and its traditions, principles and ideals. The crescent is our symbol; pure, high ever growing, and the cross is our guide; denoting service, sacrifice, and even suffering and humiliation before the world, bravely endured if need be, in following that ideal.

May we have faith in Lambda Chi Alpha and passion for its welfare. May we have hope for the future of Lambda Chi Alpha and strength to fight for its teachings. May we have pure hearts, that we may approach the ideal of perfect brotherly love.
