Sophia is a student-lead group that is dedicated to raising awareness and providing education about women's issues at Simpson and in the wider community.  We strive to provide a supportive group where women and men can share their ideas and experiences.  We aim to uphold feminism as defined by bell hooks: "Feminism is a movement to end sexism, sexist exploitation, and oppression."

 

In conjunction with the Warren County Coalition Against Domestic Violence, Sophia is sponsoring a showing of the documentary Searching for Angela Shelton, followed by a Take Back the Night Rally.  THURSDAY, APRIL 10
