College preparatory courses required for all Upward Bound participants are:

          English                    4 years

          Math                        at least 3 years, including Algebra I,      

                                         Geometry,and Algebra II

          Science                    at least 3 years

          Social Studies          at least 3 years

          Foreign Language   2-3 years of a single language

          Electives                  at least 2 years

Upward Bound Participants are expected to maintain a regular class load of college preparatory courses that will enable them to meet all graduation requirements and graduate from high school within four years.

·   Upward Bound participants are expected to maintain a semester GPA of  
    2.00 or above.

·   In addition, we expect that Upward Bound participants will:

·   Be respectful to everyone, staff and students.

·   Be ready to learn and participate fully in Upward Bound activities.

·   Be involved; using your time and talents to benefit your community, family 
    and  Upward Bound.
