Theatre Simpson participates in the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival. Each year we enter our productions in KCACTF and our shows are reviewed by outside respondents. Through KCACTF students participate regularly in many programs including the Irene Ryan Scholarship Auditions, the Barbizon Awards for Theatrical Excellence, the Mehron Makeup Design Award, Summer Stock Auditions and the Inge Festival Scholarship Scene Auditions.

Simpson College is a part of Region V, a seven state region that includes Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota and South Dakota.
