Earth Corps offers students the opportunity to receive scholarships for researching, proposing and implementing sustainable projects for Simpson. Students work hands-on with a faculty advisor and other students throughout their four years to help the college work towards its ultimate goal of carbon neutrality. The Environmental A wareness Club is a student group committed to informing the college on a variety of environmental topics. While the club's main objective is awareness, EAC also tackles a variety of projects each year.Current projects include eliminating Styrofoam products from the dining halls and plans for an organic garden, which will be planted Spring of 2010. EAC is open to all Simpson students and meets every other Monday at 8PM in Carver. Contact EAC President Paige Shelton for more information.
