Bucklin, Ellingson receive All-American honors
Simpson had a strong showing Saturday at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championship meet in Marietta, Ohio.
Catie Ellingson (So., Indianola, IA) placed fifth in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 4:30.90. She received All-American honors.
Lauren Bucklin (Jr., Bondurant, IA) placed third in the 100-meter hurdles, receiving All-American honors. She ran the event in 14.27. Bucklin placed eighth in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 65.36. She also received All-American honors for the 400-meter hurdles.
Kinsey Bak (Fr., Hinton, IA) placed 22nd in the high jump at 1.59 meters.
Chelsey Degen (So., Algona, IA) competed Friday. Degan placed 9th in the finals of the discus throw with a distance of 41.50 meters.
