"We swam very well," said Simpson head coach Aaron Strain. "It was a great opportunity to swim in different events and we lowered our times in the events that we swam in last week. Claudia Swanson (competed) in three really hard events and came through like a champ. I (again) was impressed with Catherine Mayes who has only been with us since the end of soccer season. Kayla Miller, who is out for swimming for the first time, swam well for us in four events. The relays worked hard this week in practice and it showed during the competition."
