Shyann Warrick is just as busy off the field as on. When she is not playing softball, the criminal justice and sociology double major works as a member of the Simpson security staff, where her responsibilities include securing buildings and responding to medical emergencies. In addition, she serves as a volunteer firefighter in Warren County. She hopes to work for the Department of Public Safety after she graduates in May 2008.

Warrick is also active in the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and a member of the sorority Delta Delta Delta.

Warrick decided to play softball at Simpson after participating in a fall league for high school students.

“The moment I set foot on campus, I knew it was home,” she said. “I have had a wonderful three and a half years.”
