#1 Whitney Franker
 
2007 (Junior): Went 5-9-1 with a 1.79 goals against average. Increased school record for career shutouts to 16. Made 94 saves. 
Simpson Basketball: Chosen first team All-Conference. Was in the top 15 in the conference in seven different categories.
2006 (Sophomore): Named first team All-Conference. Reset school record for career shutouts with 15 (old mark of 12 was established by Ashley Wilson (1999-02). Named Iowa Conference Player of the Week on two occasions including the week ending Nov. 5 which she posted a pair of shutouts during the IIAC Tournament. Went 11-5-3 with a 1.09 goals against average. Made 116 saves. 
Simpson Basketball: Averaged 9.0 points and 5.1 rebounds. Second on the team in assists (73) and blocks (34). Third on the squad in both scoring and rebounding. Scored a career high 25 points in first round of NCAA Tournament against UW-Stout. Finished is fourth in the Iowa Conference in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.22). Was sixth in the conference in blocked shots (1.13), eighth in assists (2.43), 15th in rebounding (5.1), 22nd in scoring (9.0).
2005 (Freshman): Went 12-4-2 with a 0.92 goals against average and 100 saves. Tied school record for most shutouts in a season with eight. 100 saves were the third most in a season in school history. Goals against average and win total were the fourth best in a season in school history. Was among the top five in the Iowa Conference in goals against average (third), shutouts (fourth), and save percentage (fifth).
Simpson Basketball: Averaged 3.3 points and 3.0 rebounds in 23 varsity appearances.
High School: A 2005 graduate of Urbandale High School. Coach was Jim Wright. Named honorable mention All-State as a sophomore. Selected second team All-Conference as a senior. Chosen second team All-State and first team All-Conference in basketball as a senior.
Personal: Born Apr. 11, 1987. Daughter of Dan and Linda Franker. A sports administration major.


#2 Lea Scaletta

High School: A 2008 graduate of Waukee High School. Coach was Ryan Sanders. Selected honorable mention All-State and first team All-Conference as a senior. Servesd as U-12 coach for the Des Moines Menace youth program.
Personal: Born Mar. 3, 1990. Daughter of Fred Scaletta and Brenda Scaletta. An accounting major. Cousin Paul is a member of the Simpson football team.


#3 Heather Akes

2007 (Sophomore): Named second team All-Conference. Tied for third on the team in goals with Erin Vinnedge (2). Fourth on the squad in shots (21). Was fifth on the team in points (4).
2006 (Freshman): Chosen first team All-Conference. Helped lead the Storm defense to a 1.07 goals against average. Scored one goal and had two assists for a total of four points. Took 19 shots.
High School: A 2006 graduate of Southeast Polk High School. Coach was Craig Naeve. A four-time honorable mention All-State selection. Chosen team MVP four times. A three-time first team All-Conference selection. Ended career as school's all-time leader in goals scored and points.
Personal: Born June 19, 1988. Daughter of Darin and Deanna Bennigsdorf. A sociology major.


#4 Sarah Crary

2007 (Freshman): Played in 13 matches. Took one shot.
High School: A 2007 graduate of West High School. Coach was Jen Gengler. Selected honorable mention All-State and first team All-Conference as a senior. Lettered in swimming.
Personal: Born June 2, 1989. Daughter of Steve and Bonnie Crary. A biology major.


#5 Megan Berlin

2007 (Freshman): Appeared in 14 matches and took two shots.
High School: A 2007 graduate of Atlantic High School. Coaches were Darcy McBride and JoAnn Sandage. Named first team All-Conference as a sophomore and as a senior. Earned honorable mention All-State honors as a sophomore. Lettered in basketball, cross country, and softball. A member of the National Honor Society.
Personal: Born Apr. 6, 1989. Daughter of Doug and Sheryl Berlin. Has a double major of athletic training and biology.


#7 Stefani Egnell

2007 (Freshman): Appeared in eight varsity matches. Took two shots.
High School: A 2007 graduate of Park Center High School. Coach was Sean McNattin. A four-year letterwinner. A parte of the section academic champions during sophomore and junior seasons. Lettered in golf.
Personal: Born Sept. 19, 1988. Daughter of John and Marie Egnell. A pre-med major.


#8 Casey Becker

High School: A 2008 graduate of Assumption High School. Coach was Rob Eckert. Named honorable mention All-State as a senior. Team qualified for state tournament three times during career. An honorable mention All-Conference selection in volleyball.
Personal: Born June 22, 1990. Daughter of Bill and Marie Becker. Undecided upon a major


#9 Kellie Whitney

2007 (Sophomore): Led team in points (16), goals (7), and shots (36). Tied for team lead in assists (2) with Mollie McMahon, Jenna Garrels, and Jessica Shively.
Simpson Track: Won the triple jump at both the Iowa Conference Indoor and Outdoor Championships. Won seven triple jump titles in 16 events during the indoor and outdoor seasons.
2006 (Freshman): Third on the squad in goals (5) and fourth on the team in points (11). Fifth on the team in shots (21).
Simpson Track: Reset school record in the indoor triple jump with a leap of 36-0 3/4. Won the triple jump at the Iowa Conference Indoor Championships.
High School: A 2006 graduate of North High School. Did not compete in high school soccer. A two-time state track meet qualifier in the 300m hurdles and the triple jump. Chosen second team All-Conference in the 300m hurdles as a junior and as a senior. Named honorable mention All-Conference in the 300m and and triple jump as a junior and as a senior. Holds school records in teh triple jump (36-2 1/2) and 300m hurdles (:47.46). Lettered in diving.
Personal: Born Apr. 17, 1988. Daughter of Chris and Linda Whitney. An environmental science major. Sister Tracie McCulla is a former Simpson women's soccer player and Iowa Conference MVP.


#10 Erin Vinnedge

2007 (Sophomore): Third on the team in points (5), goals (2), and shots (22). Had one assist.
2006 (Freshman): Played in 18 matches, starting two. Took seven shots.
2005 (Redshirt): Sat out the season as a redshirt at NCAA Division II Montana State-Billings.
High School: A 2005 graduate of Russell High School. Coach was Heather Kaste. A three-time Academic All-State selection. Chosen honorable mention All-State as a senior. A member of the National Honor Society.
Personal: Born July 11, 1987. Daughter of Steven and Donna Vinnedge. Has a double major of match and economics major.


#11 Natalie Erhardt

High School: A 2008 graduate of Waverly-Shell Rock High School. Coach was Scott Schara. Team qualified for state tournament three times. Selected honorable mention All-Conference in basketball. Lettered in volleyball.
Personal: Born Nov. 30, 1989. Daughter of Jeff and Karen Erhardt. A business major


#12 Alyssa Stoll

2007 (Junior): Played in one match before injuring knee and was forced to sit out the rest of the season.
2006 (Sophomore): Second on the team in goals (8), points (18), and shots (41). Dished out two assists.
2005 (Freshman): Played in 17 varsity matches, starting one. Was sixth on the team in scoring (5). Tied with Amy Hubner for fourth on the team in assists (3). Scored one goal after taking 12 shots.
High School: A 2005 graduate of Burke High School. Coach was Steve Moore. A four-year letterwinner. Named honorable mention All-Conference as a junior and as a senior.
Personal: Born July 24, 1987. Daughter of Mike and Kim Stoll. A sports administration major.


#13 Mollie McMahon

2007 (Sophomore): Led team in shots (37). Tied for team lead in assists with Kellie Whitney, Jenna Garrels and Jessica Shively for the team lead in assists (2). Second on the team in points (8) and goals (3).
2006 (Freshman): Scored one goal and had one assist in 19 apperances. Was fifth on the team in shots with 20.
High School: A 2006 graduate of Roosevelt High School. Coach was JR Fernandes. Named honorable mention All-State as a senior. Chosen NSCAA/adidas State Player of the Year as a junior. A three-time first team All-Conference selection. A member of the National Honor Society.
Personal: Born Aug. 18, 1988. Daughter of William and Suzanne McMahon. A biology major.


#14 Dani Rondeau

High School: A 2008 graduate of West High School. Coach was Dave Rosenthal. Team qualified for state tournament three times. Named Academic All-Conference as a senior.
Personal: Born Nov. 14, 1989. Daughter of Craig and Jane Rondeau. Undecided upon a major.


#15 Lacey Davis

High School: A 2008 graduate of Grinnell High School. Coach was Sackda Virivong. Named honorable mention All-State as a junior and as a senior. Chosen first team All-Conference as a senior and second team All-Conference as a junior. Earned honorable mention All-Conference honors as a freshman and as a sophomore. Ended career with school record 89 goals. Lettered in basketball, softball, and volleyball.
Personal: Born Aug. 8, 1989. Daughter of James and Linda Davis. An exercise science major.


#16 Catherine Mayes

High School: A 2008 graduate of Muscatine High School. Coach was Osama Shihadeh. A three-year letterwinner. Served as team captain as a senior. Chosen NISCA Academic All-American in swimming. A member of the National Honor Society.
Personal: Born May 16, 1990. Daughter of Paul and Ann Mayes. Has a double major of biochemistry and forensic science.


#17 Corie Peterson

High School: A 2008 graduate of North High School. Coach was Patrick Crandall. Served as team captain as a senior. Lettered in track and posted a season best in the pole vault of 9-6.
Personal: Born Apr. 20, 1990. Daughter of Randy and Holly Peterson. A forensic science major.


#19 Megan Ginsberg

High School: A 2008 graduate of West High School. Coach was Dave Rosenthal. Team qualified for state tournament three times. Named honorable mention All-Conference as a junior and as a senior. Participated in basketball.
Personal: Born Apr. 29, 1990. Daughter of Douglas and Lynne Ginsberg. Undecided upon a major.


#20 Johnna Kripal

2007 (Junior): Anchored the Storm defense to a 1.28 goals against average. Played in 15 matches, scoring one goal and recording one assist for a total of three points. Took six shots.
2006 (Sophomore): Helped lead the Storm defense to a 1.07 goals against average. Was fourth on the team in assists with three. Took nine shots.
2005 (Freshman): Started 17-of-18 varsity appearances. Took 15 shots and recorded one assist.
High School: A 2005 graduate of West High School. Coach was Kristin Morrison. Named honorable mention All-State as a junior and as a senior. Served as team captain as a junior and as a senior. Lettered in basketball.
Personal: Born Feb. 4, 1987. Daughter of Teresa Plambeck. A biology major.


#21 Katherine Bird

High School: A 2008 graduate of City High School. Coach was Tessa Price Vitense. Named honorable mention All-State, first team All-Conference, and team MVP as a senior. Chosen honorable mention All-Conference as a junior. Played in 2008 All-State Soccer Game. Served as team captain as a junior and as a senior. Lettered in basketball. Basketball team won state championship during senior season.
Personal: Born Mar. 22, 1990. Daughter of Gary and Lois Bird. A biology major.


#22 Nicole Dillenburg
