Tricia Davis liked the idea of running cross country and track in college. Simpson just seemed like the perfect fit.
"I have loved my Simpson experience," she said. "I've built strong relationships and friends through cross country and track."
Davis' journey has not been easy. During her last two years at Simpson, Davis has strained both of her hamstrings, had bursitis in her hip and has had painful shin splints.
As a result, Davis had to sit out most of her sophomore cross country season. But this year, as a junior, she is up and running again, pain free.
"It has made me a lot stronger, because it forced me to not give up," she said. "I had to keep my eye on my goal."
