Athlete Spotlight - Carrie Larson

Honors: Letter winner in basketball
After making it to the Sweet Sixteen in the NCAA Division III basketball tournament two years in a row, senior Carrie Larson is anxious to begin another successful basketball season.
“I’m really excited for the upcoming season,” said Larson. “We have a lot of experienced and talented players coming back, and I expect us to be in the race for another conference championship and another chance to play in the NCAA tournament.”
Larson has taken advantage of the activities offered for students by involving herself in other programs on campus. Larson, a sports administration major, is also involved in the CHAMPS/Life Skills program and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
“I’ve made friends for life and had experiences I know I’ll remember forever,” said Larson. “I’ve learned that you only get out of things what you put into them, in both sports and the classroom. If you work hard and study hard, good things will happen.”
