Women's Basketball To Play UW-Whitewater in NCAA Tournament
The Simpson College Women's Basketball team (24-3) has earned yet another berth in the National Collegiate Athletic Association Division III championship tournament.
The Storm will travel to Saint Joseph, Minn., to play UW-Whitewater (22-4) Friday, March 6 at 5:30 p.m.
The Storm will be looking to avenge last year's Sweet 16 loss to the Warhawks. Since 1983 the Storm has been to the NCAA Tournament nine times, and this year will mark their fifth consecutive appearance in the tournament.
Hosting the tournament, College of Saint Benedict will play Ripon College following Simpson's game Friday night. The winners of those two games will play Saturday, March 7 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets each day are $7 for adults and $3 for students, children two and under or seniors age 65 or older are free.
