Women Travel to Wartburg; Men Visit Luther
The Simpson men's and women's soccer teams begin postseason play Tuesday, Nov. 3 as each squad will hit the road for the first round.
The women's team enters the tournament as the No. 5 seed after finishing the regular season 9-7 (5-3 IIAC). Simpson will kickoff at noon in Waverly, facing No. 4 Wartburg. The Knights defeated the Storm in the regular season matchup, 2-0 Sept. 26 in Waverly. Wartburg entered play last week ranked fifth in the North Region.
The Simpson men finished the regular season 6-8-3 (3-4-1 IIAC), good for the No. 5 seed. The men travel to Decorah to face No. 4 Luther in a 4 p.m. kickoff. The Norse snuck by the Storm 1-0 Oct. 10, a game also played at Decorah.
