Coach Clint MannyHead Coach - Clint Manny is in his first season as head coach at Simpson. Previously, he was an assistant coach for the Storm in 2006-08 and student assistant for the in 2005-06 as he completed his physical education degree. Manny became the all-time winningest wrestler at Simpson when he won three matches at the 2005 NCAA Division III National Championships. Manny concluded his career with a 148-24 record, breaking the old record of 146 (146-17-1) set by Travis Young (1989-92).

A three-time All-American for Simpson at 149 pounds, Manny was the national runner-up at 149 as a junior and as a senior. The Peru, Iowa, native spent all of his senior season ranked first in the weight class. Of his five losses as a senior (34-5), two were to wrestlers from NCAA Division I Oklahoma State including then No. 1 Zach Esposito and three were to nationally ranked Division III opponents. Manny was named Most Outstanding Wrestler of the 2004 Division III NWCA Duals. He was chosen Iowa Conference Male Athlete and Wrestler of the Week a total of four times in his career.

Assistant Coach Jared Creason

Jared CreasonJared Creason is in his first season as a member of the Simpson coaching staff. Creason joins the Storm after serving as a member of the staff at the University of Dubuque for the 2007-08 season. Creason was a three-time NCAA Division III Championships qualifier for Coe College, earning All-American honors at 141 pounds (third place) as a senior. Creason won the 141-pound title at the 2007 Iowa Conference Tournament. Creason concluded his career with a 135-35 record.

Assistant Coach Drew Duff

Drew DuffDrew Duff is in his first season as a member of the Simpson staff. Duff wrestled at Coe College from 1999-03 and earned Scholar All-American honors as a senior. He began his coaching career at West Central Valley High School where he served on the wrestling and football staffs from 2003-04. In 2004, he moved onto Winterset High School where he was a wrestling and football coach for the next three years. In 2006, Duff moved to Creston High School where he coached wrestling and football until 2008.

Assistant Coach Bob Dyer

Bob DyerBob Dyer is in his second season on the Simpson staff. Dyer joined the staff after spending 30 years as the head wrestling coach at Glenwood High School where he led Glenwood to the 1989 state championship and two runner-up placings (1992, 1998). His teams qualified for the state dual tournament sixs times, placing third four times. He was selected Iowa Class 2A Coach of the Year in 1989 and 2005.
