Simpson sweeps Rockford
Kyle Shilling (left) (So. Knoxville, IA) shutout Rockford's Jason Taylor 6-0, 6-0 earlier this week in Clinton Iowa. Also earning wins for Simpson were Adam Summit (Fr. Urbandale, IA) who defeated Brad Pemberton 6-0, 6-2 and Luke Riessleman (Fr. Boone, IA) who beat Rockford's David Burritt 1-6, 7-6, 1-0. Rockford defaulted on the remaining three singles matches. The only double's match of the day saw Simpson's Adam Summit and Noah Saunders (So. Norwalk, IA) defeat Burritt and Pemberton of Rockford 8-2. The remaining double's matches were also defaulted by Rockford. Simpson won the meet 9-0.
