Athlete Spotlight - Daniel Schneider
High School and Hometown: Fort Madison High School, Fort Madison, Iowa
Dan Schneider transferred to Simpson from Southeastern Community College in West Burlington when he realized he wanted to play tennis again.
"I didn't play tennis last year, but Coach Finn helped me make the decision to come here to play," said Schneider. "I enjoy tennis because I like getting to meet new people and enjoy challenging myself every day."
With a new coach and many new team members, the Storm is hoping to be much more competitive than last year. Schneider believes the team will finish in the top half of the conference.
"We should be a much more competitive team," said Schneider. "Coach Finn is a great person and he wants to win, so the mindset of the team is always to win."
