Athlete Spotlight - Jeremy Ward

High School and Hometown: Norwalk High School, Norwalk, Iowa
When Jeremy Ward came to Simpson to play soccer, he liked the idea of starting something new. With a young team and a new coach, he knew there would be a chance to impact the program. Now, he’s ready for the team to move forward.
“I want to get rid of the persona of being a young team,” he said.
Ward, a physics and mathematics major, is involved in a variety of activities outside of soccer. On campus, he tutors in the Hawley Resource Center and is a member of the both the Physics Club and the Math Club. He enjoys taking SCUBA diving trips in the summer.
He is also a reserve in the International Guard. Ward currently makes repairs on the F-16 fleet at the Des Moines International Airport.
