Athlete Spotlight - John Wolfe
Position: Defensive back
High School and Hometown: Lincoln High School, Council Bluffs, Iowa
Senior John Wolfe, a physical education major, has enjoyed his Simpson experience so much that he is not ready to leave his college life behind him.
“I came to Simpson College because I knew I wanted to play football somewhere,” Wolfe said. “Simpson had the best campus and a really great football coach who recruited me.”
One of Wolfe’s favorite moments is when Coach Jim Glogowski wore his long johns and did a dance mid-field during practice.
Though there have been some fun moments on and off the field, Wolfe said this year’s team is incredibly focused.
“We are a very determined team," Wolfe said.
Throughout his time as a student athlete, Wolfe has learned the value of teamwork and appreciated bond that he has made with his fellow athletes.
