Athlete Spotlight- Brody Tubaugh
Position: Wide Receiver
High School and Hometown: Centerville High School, Centerville, Iowa
Honors: Academic All-Conference
Brody Tubaugh's ready for Storm football to make its mark.
"This season is going to be a blast!" he said. "There is plenty of excitement from the team and coaches. The new staff has encouraged us to play together and continue a Simpson tradition we can be proud to be a part of."
At Simpson, Tubaugh, who is a religion major, found a supportive environment that allowed him to explore his interests. He hopes to go to seminary after Simpson to become an ordained minister.
"I have met many people who work at Simpson that have taken the time to be interested in my goals and aspirations," he said. "They have not only been supportive but they have helped me pursue my passions."
In addition to football, Tubaugh is a member of the Religious Life Community (RLC). During spring break last year, he participated in an RLC-sponsored service trip to southern Alabama where he served at a halfway house and an elementary school.
