Athlete Spotlight - Renauld Shelton

High School and Hometown: Blue Springs High School, Kansas City, Missouri
When Renauld Shelton came to Simpson College as a first-year student, he was excited, but overwhelmed about the changes that would lie ahead.
Today, he is grateful for the chance to expand his horizons and meet a lot of great friends, especially through football, during his time at Simpson.
Shelton, a senior, said he would leave the college with great memories from his athletic career.
“I remember when we beat Central College last year on their home turf,” Shelton said. “Central had to wait on the 50 yard line until we were done celebrating. It was an amazing experience.”
Shelton, a graphic design major, is involved in Student Support Services and a member of Broke Phi Broke. In his free time, he enjoys sketching and playing NFL Madden 10 as much as he can.
