Athlete Spotlight - Ben Reutzel
Position: Defensive Lineman
High School and Hometown: Prairie High School, Cedar Rapids, Iowa

Because of the new coaching staff and some different tactics on defense and offense, Ben Reutzel is excited about the current football season.
"The potential we have is really, really great," he said. "The team unity off and on the field is really good."
When Reutzel, a junior athletic training major, arrived at Simpson two years ago, he joined his older brother, Adam, as a member of the football team.
Reutzel was drawn to the college's relaxing, small-town atmosphere when he first visited his brother on campus.
"I like that you can get close to your professors and get that one-on-one experience," he said.
