Athlete Spotlight - Lee Coel
Position: Left Offensive Tackle
High School and Hometown: Cooper City High School/Cooper City, Florida
Senior Lee Coel is a veteran on the Simpson football team.
During his four years as a member of the Storm, Coel has seen some amazing improvements as members of the offense and defense have come together to play as one team.
“We’re playing smarter and better each game,” Coel said. “This is the seniors last chance to play on our home turf, and we’re going to give it our all.”
Though football is a demanding sport, Coel said he has enjoyed his time as member of the team.
“As you get older, you get smarter and start to learn from your mistakes,” Coel said. “When your senior year comes around, you’ll look back and remember all the experiences you had.”
Coel, a biology minor and chemistry minor, is planning on attending veterinary school after graduation.
