Tim Stover Named Preseason Football All-American
Simpson College senior linebacker Tim Stover (Muscatine, Iowa, Muscatine H.S.) has been named Consensus Draft Services (CDS) preseason All-American.
Stover was named second team All-Conference last season as he finished 20th in Division III in total tackles per game (12.3). Stover led the Storm in tackles with 123. He also tied for team lead with his twin brother Luke in tackles for a loss (11). Tim Stover was third on the team in interceptions with three. The 6-2 business management major broke up three passes, forced two fumbles, and made one interception a year ago.
