"The men had their best performance at this meet in years," said Simpson head coach Brad Hofer. "The team has really gelled together and is really laying it all out on the line each meet for eachother and the team. Eric Osterhaus ran well up front for us. Eric Patten had an amazing perfomance, and was followed closely by his teammates. We are ready to become one of the top team in the conference. And that is a great step up for us."
"The women team ran very tough in a meet that had outstanding competition," Hofer continued. "Our team is still battling some sickness. Catie ran well in her first meet back in almost a month. Tricia and Sarah ran extemely tough as well. Yet we are continuing to see solid improvements both in faster times and in different peolpe stepping up each week. I am excited to see how we compete again at a huge meet at La Crosse next week."
