Athlete Spotlight - Dave Ferezy

Hometown and High School: Des Moines, Iowa, Dowling Catholic
Senior Dave Ferezy is excited for a new start this basketball season. Though he was disappointed with last year's outcome, Ferezy said to expect a whole new team during the 2008-09 season.
"This season won't even be comparable to last," said Ferezy. "We are a completely different team with a completely different attitude."
Returning leaders and a few freshmen should help the team strive for their goal at a chance to play in the NCAA Tournament. Strong bonds between the teammates have really impacted the team's attitude this season.
"Being part of a team is what I love most about playing," said Ferezy. "Through basketball I have met some of my best friends, and they are what make it worth while."
