Athlete Spotlight - Tim Dunlavy

Honors: 2008 First team All-Conference
Tim Dunlavy’s favorite memory from playing basketball at Simpson is a road trip the team took to Phoenix his freshman year.
“It was nice to be with the guys,” he said. “The trip wasn’t all about basketball.”
He hopes the team will be able to continue to improve during the coming season.
Dunlavy decided to play basketball at Simpson because he liked the campus. The school was also small, so he thought it would be a good fit for him.
Dunlavy said being a student-athlete taught him time management.
“It’s difficult keeping up with school and sports during the season, but it’s worth it because I enjoy being with my teammates,” he said.
