Storm Golf Classic

The eighth annual Wayne Carse Storm Golf Classic has been set for Thursday, September 24, 2009 at the Echo Valley Country Club in Des Moines. Sponsored by the Simpson College Athletic Department and the Gold Club, the classic will include an 18 hole division and a 9 hole division at Echo Valley's championship golf course.
Along with the two-person best-ball tournament (with flighted winners), there will be hole-in-one contests and several golfing games including closest to the pin, longest putt and longest drive.
A social hour and dinner will follow the afternoon's activities. A raffle and silent auction are planned for the evening. Plan to join fellow competitors, guests and members of the Simpson community for the social hour and dinner. This event is an opportunity for college, community and business people to enjoy a day of golf and festivity, while supporting the athletic department in its effort to maintain and build on an already strong tradition.
