Internships

Internships within the Sport Science and Health Education Department are learning opportunities to enhance class room experiences and help launch you into the career of your choice. Most internships range from three to four credit hours, but the student may take up to 12 hours towards graduation in total internship credit during their four years at Simpson.  Students must be in good academic standing in order to register for internship credit.

Past interns have completed learning experiences and opportunities with the following organizations:

Dallas Cowboys, Texas Instruments Wellness Corporation,  US Olympic Swim Team Administrative Offices, National AAU Organizations, The Iowa Games, Des Moines Park and Recreation, Indianola Parks and Recreation, Hometown Fitness, Aspen Fitness Clubs, South Suburban YMCA, Iowa Cubs Baseball, Inc., Iowa Events Center, Iowa State Football, Iowa High School Athletic Association, Iowa Girls' Athletic Union; Simpson College Football and Simpson College Athletic Department.
