Background
Chairman of the Division of Education and Social Science. Fred is a criminologist and is the Director of Criminal Justice Education at Simpson. He has published or presented numerous papers on various criminal justice and family topics over the years. Current interests include criminological theory and blended family issues. In addition he is active with several service agencies in Iowa including South Central Youth and Family Services, Inc., the Metropolitan Public Safety Consortium, Creative Vision's Social Justice Research Committee and the Indianola Civil Service Commission.
