SWAT stands for Students Working toward a better Tomorrow. Students interested in social science meet for social events, organize volunteer activities and field trips, and meet practicioners who can talk about their agencies and careers. Field trips include tours of a prison, a crime lab, and a courthouse. SWAT's faculty advisor is Dr. Roxann Ryan.
