Learn, Serve, and Surf” is the title of this collection of links for s-l.  A great resource that was the work of a graduate student at the University of Texas.

The Learning In Deed website contains great information, both practical and philosophical.

National Service-Learning and Civic Engagement Research Directory
The research directory is an aggregation of the search pages of primary online resources related to service-learning and civic engagement research in K-12 education, teacher education, and higher education. The search databases of these online sources are posted on a single page, providing a one-stop source for accessing available research information from various existing on-line databases.

National Service Learning Partnership, We provide our 5,700 members of teachers, administrators, parents, school board members, young people, community leaders, teacher educators, researchers, and policymakers-- with products and tools to make service-learning a core element of every K-12 student's education.

American Association of Colleges and Universities. Site provides detailed descriptions of its projects, including the Diversity Initiative, in which service-learning and campus-community partnerships play an important role.

Michigan Journal of Community Service Learning. The MJCSL is a peer-reviewed academic journal containing papers written by faculty and service-learning educators on research, theory, pedagogy, and issues pertinent to the service-learning community. Site contains abstracts of MJCSL articles and information on subscribing and submitting manuscripts. Copies of the journal are available in both Dunn Library and at Maple House.

The National Service-Learning Clearinghouse. This site contains a searchable database of K-12 and higher education service-learning literature, information about events, listservs and Learn & Serve America efforts and links to a variety of service-learning information resources.

National Society for Experiential Education. Includes information about various experiential education methods, including service-learning. Also includes membership and conference information, lists of publications and resources, and a description of NSEE’s mission and history.
