As a member of the Division of Student Development, the Department of Campus Security has a multi-faceted mission. In addition to maintaining a safe environment for the campus community, the department is responsible for educating and involving campus members in safety and security issues.

Because these responsibilities are traditionally assigned to a professional staff, our student employees are afforded the opportunity to develop leadership, communication and interpersonal skills that will help them in the classroom as well as in future occupations.
