Community Advisors
Community Advisors (CAs) are current students who are a key component in creating a successful Residence Life experience for our residential students.  There are 18 traditional hall CAs (6 in Kresge, 6 in Barker, 3 in Buxton, and 2 in Picken).

CA stipends are $4900 for the year, divided into 10 equal monthly payments.  If you are interested in applying, please download an application and reference forms here. These applications are due to the Student Development office by Monday, January 30.  When turning in your application, you will be able to sign up for an interview time with our selection committee.

House Assistants
The House Assistant (HA) stipend is equal to $3500 for the year, divided into 10 equal monthly payments. Generally, the five House Assistants are members (1 each) of the five college-owned fraternity and sorority buildings. The college-owned Greek buildings are Alpha Tau Omega (ATO), Sigma Alpha Epsilon (SAE), Lambda Chi Alpha (LXA), Kappa Theta Psi (KTP), and Kappa Kappa Gamma (KKG).

          For Juniors and Seniors only:

Community Advisors in the Apartments (8 positions)
The department also has CAs in the apartments, and the job responsbilities for those students are slightly different than a traditional hall CA.  Each apartment building has 1 CA except Station Square and Clinton, which have 2 due to the size of the buildings. The CA stipend is equal to $4400, divided into 10 equal monthly payments. One full year of Residence Life staff experience is preferred, but not required.
