RHA - Residence Hall Association

The Residence Hall Association (RHA) is a governmental body for all students in on-campus housing and is open to all students. This organization serves a few main roles:

  • Hosts SafeBlock and Lil' Sibs, two campus-wide programs for students and families
  • Provides other campus-wide programming for the Simpson community
  • Represents residential students to the Department of Residence Life
  • Evaluates current and future policies, procedures, and departmental changes.

Currently, our RHA is advised by Jeff Martens, the Assistant Director of Residence Life. If you are interested, please feel free to contact him at jeff.martens@simpson.edu or at x1732.

RHA is an important resource to have and fun to participate in. RHA's across the country belong to NACURH (National Association of College and University Residence Halls), and there are both regional (MACURH) and national leadership conferences for students to attend.
