Area Councils
The Area Councils are the student government for your residence hall. These student-run organizations are active in planning new programs and carrying on the traditions established in the past. Area Council officers and the floor representatives are selected shortly after opening during the fall semester. Area Councils are typically advised by the Area Coordinator or the Student Hall Coordinator (SHC).

Apartment Council
This council is the student government for the apartments. This student-run organization is active in planning new programs and carrying on the traditions established in the past. Council executive officers and the representatives are selected shortly after opening during the fall semester. The apartment council is typically advised by the Area Coordinator for the Greek Houses and Apartments.
