Events and Forums
The RLC Interfaith program offers student the chance to learn about various faith communities through educational and experiential opportunities. The program hosts many speakers on campus throughout the year and takes students to interesting events, like the Diwali Festival at the Hindu Temple in Madrid, Iowa and the celebration of Rosh Hashanah at a Synagogue in Des Moines.
Explore: Church
This group explores different churches and other communities of worship in the Indianola area. Students participate in order to learn more about other religions or denominations. We encourage students, especially first years, to join together in finding a religious community of their own.

Madie Fiedler: Intern of Interfaith
Hey! My name is Madie Fiedler, and I'm the intern in charge of Interfaith! I'm majoring in Religion and Psychology, and hoping to figure out what I want to do with my life (so if you have any ideas, shoot me an e-mail, facebook me, or send me a tweet). I'm very passionate about interfaith work and bringing people of different faiths together. I believe we all have something to learn from each other, no matter what faith background we are. I bring in people of different faiths to speak about their experiences and hopefully provide Simpson students with a chance to learn about religions they may not be familiar with. Ultimately, my job is to provide an environment for understanding and respect. I love being an RLC intern and working with some of my best friends in the chapel!
