Cornerstone
The Cornerstone program serves first-year students by providing fellowship and helping them to get involved in RLC and campus activities. Cornerstone groups form at the beginning of the academic year and last for the first semester. All first-year students are welcome to join at any time. Large group activities, open to any first year student, happen every few weeks and small groups meet weekly.
Food for the Soul
Food for the Soul is a student-led, once-weekly supper club that opens with prayer, shares a meal together and then has a time of discussion, introspection and fellowship. This food is home cooked, and most weeks is provided by local church congregations who graciously bring food and fellowship to us. No two weeks are alike--anyone and everyone are invited on any given week to partake of food for their stomach and for their soul.
After Hours
After Hours is a group of highly creative students who are committed to bringing unique activities and experiences to their fellow students and the Indianola community. Past After Hours sponsored events have included swing-dancing lessons, self defense classes, horseback riding and ice-cream sundae study breaks during finals week.
Spend some time together in fellowship. After Hours also hosts a time for fellowship once every month after Campus Worship on Wednesday nights in Dirlam Lounge. Activities and food are provided for a relaxing and fun evening.
About Face
About Face provides transfer students an opportunity to meet other Christian Transfers and to share their faith through fellowship and devotion while acclimating themselves with other Religious Life activities and groups and to familiarize themselves with the Simpson College Campus.
