Religious Life Community
Welcome to RLC!
The Religious Life Community (RLC) at Simpson College is a student-led collection of ministries striving to intentionally promote and share a spirit of love with others on campus and beyond. Through worship, service, fellowship, and celebration, RLC challenges and nurtures students as they endeavor to grow in their faith and mature as spiritual human-beings. Bible studies, mission trips, retreats, shared meals, worship, and prayer are only a few of the opportunities offered to students, encouraging them to engage with one another and develop a sense of abundant life. RLC's Interfaith and Catholic Student Organization programs further create space for everyone to feel comfortable in their own sense of spiritual identity, while simultaneously offering opportunities for dialogue with people of differing religious traditions. This year we are exploring Ecclesiastes 3:1-8. We invite students to tackle various topics including community, service, poverty, and God, as well as challenge ourselves to learn more about the faiths we live out every day, and the faiths that those around us are living out. We would love for you to join us as we learn, grow and build relationships. If you have any questions about how you can get involved, please let me know!
