SUNDAYS:

Catholic Mass, 5 PM, Smith Chapel

The Catholic Student Organization at Simpson College provides this weekly Catholic Mass to Simpson students, led by two area priests from Indianola and Des Moines.

MONDAYS:

Shalom Zone, 3 PM, BSC Grill

This service group leaves every Monday at 3 PM to go to Des Moines to work with inner-city Des Moines children at an after-school program.

Fellowship of Christian Athletes, 7:30 PM

This is a group of students who gets together to do Bible studies, talk about issues, and hang out. Non-athletes are welcome, too!

TUESDAYS:

Food for the Soul, 5:30 PM, Dirlam Lounge

Food for the Soul provides a free home-cooked meal to Simpson students, prepared by local area churches. The churches bring members to get to know the students and share about the ministry they do in the Indianola area. This is a great time to make community connections!

All-male Bible Study, 8 PM, Small Chapel

This student-led Bible study is open to all males of any age!

Revelation Singers, 8 PM, Small Chapel

Revelation Singers is an outreach group at Simpson that sings praise and worship songs at Simpson events and in local area churches.

Cornerstone, 9 PM, Smith Chapel

This is a first-year group that gets together to spend time in fellowship, get to know one another, and eat good food!

Beyond Belief, 9 PM, Dirlam Lounge

Beyond Belief is a group that gets together to discuss about difficult issues in the church and in society.

WEDNESDAYS:

Haven Club, 2:15 PM, west side of Kresge dorm.

This service group goes to Des Moines every Wednesday to hang out with inner-city kids at Children and Family Urban Ministries. Haven Club is an after-school program for children ages K-6th grade, and students play games with the kids, help them with homework, and simply are good role models for them!

40 Days Closer to God, 7:30-8:30 PM, Small Chapel

This devotional is a time to learn how to walk closer with God during this Lenten season. Led by Rev. Angela Gafford Asmus.

Honest to God, 7:30 PM, Dirlam Lounge

This is an open conversation for those who are wondering about Christianity. It's a time to bring questions, seek answers from others, and discuss Christianity in a risk-free, "no B.S." environment. Led by Rev. Chris Waddle.

Daybreak Worship, 9 PM, Smith Chapel

Come join Christian Fellowship for a student-led worship every Wednesday at
9 PM in Smith Chapel! This worship service features a wide variety of contemporary worship music and a message each week, given either by a College Chaplain, by a Simpson student, or by a professor or visiting community member.

After Hours, 10 PM, Dirlam Lounge (select weeks only)

This is a time for students to spend time in fellowship with one another after Daybreak, with food, games, and other activities. Only on certain weeks.

Breakfast Club, 6:15 AM, west side of Kresge dorm

This service group leaves every Thursday morning to go to Breakfast Club, a before-school program for inner-city Des Moines children.

Literacy Club, 3:20 PM, BSC Grill

This service group goes out every Thursday morning to spend time individually tutoring inner-city children in Des Moines.

Catholic Worker House, 5 PM, BSC Grill

Catholic Worker House is a non-profit community in downtown Des Moines that provides free meals, clothing, food, and other services to those who need it. Simpson students go to Des Moines every Thursday to serve a meal and simply spend time with those at the Catholic Worker House.

Co-ed Bible Study, 7 PM, Dirlam Lounge

This student-led co-ed Bible study is open to all ages!

All-Female Bible Study, 8 PM, Dirlam Lounge

This student-led Bible study is open to all females!
