Simpson College is flowing with opportunities for religion majors and minors. The Pre-Ministry Group is a unique group for students who are considering a vocation in professional ministry. The group provides opportunities to meet representatives from various seminaries and develop a relationship with a local minister for conversation and exploration of the student's own goals.

There are various internships and service possibilities in Indianola and the Des Moines area. In the past, Simpson students have been involved with many non-profit organizations, including Refugee Services, Children and Family Urban Ministries, and various churches in the surrounding areas.

The Religious Life Community provides many other opportunities for students to get involved in RLC, a ministry of student-led groups dedicated to extending worship, service, love and fellowship to its participants and planning various activities to encourage religious life dialogue at Simpson College and in the greater community.
