Caroline Turner will discuss issues of diversity in higher education at Simpson Sept. 11 at 7 p.m. in Great Hall.
Turner is currently the coordinator of the Arizona Education Policy Fellowship Program and Lincoln Professor of Ethics and Education at Arizona State University.
She has published many books and articles on issues of diversity on college campuses, including Diversifying the Faculty: A Guidebook for Search Committees and Faculty of Color in Academe: Bittersweet Success, and has conducted research on the hiring of minority faculty, Latino faculty in theology and minority women presidents at colleges and universities.
